She’s a ’57 New Yorker and I went with your 15 x 6 with 225/70 front and 15 x 7 with 255/70 rear. The 255/70R15s fit perfectly with the 15 x 7s, with no issues at all. There’s about ¾” clearance, so you couldn’t go too much bigger though. The 15 x 7s have the perfect offset to centre them in the wheelhouse. My car’s lowered 3” all around, so I did have to just unbolt the rear shocks (from the lower mount) to drop the diff enough to get the rear wheels up in there (and then refit the shocks.

1955 Plymouth Belvedere. Owner: Mr. Bill LaBree - Glendive, Montana

"Hello Truespoke, I got my tires mounted and the wheels installed on my ’55 Plymouth Belvedere. They look great and the quality is excellent. I am so glad that I was able to find you and get these ordered. I would probably still be on the list at Summit waiting for my wheels, as I have been since February. Truespoke did a super job of putting the wheels together and they balanced up and fit fine. I am sending you some before and after pictures of my car. The wheels are just what it needed to finish things off.
I am a happy customer, and just ordered some of your whitewall cleaner and wheel polish."

"We've installed the tire and wheel package on our 1957 Chrysler Saratoga. The car rides great; we were in contact with Ian Smale whose car is pictured on your Chrysler page, prior to the purchase and he sang the praises of the quality of your tire and wheel packages! We concur! Thanks again!"

Mr. Herb McCurdy of Missouri owns two 1961 Plymouth station wagons. Some people think the '61 had a face that only a mother could love. Herb has proven that notion wrong by highly detailing his cars out and adding our Chrysler 15 X 6" wire wheels and wide whites.

Mr. Stephen York owns this very rare Plymouth coupe. The wheels shown were restored by us and are the original items. The side-mount wheels were especially difficult to restore and for those wheels we used custom-made spokes that are thicker than a normal spoke. The caps are the original Plymouth parts. Mr. York was great to work with and entirely patient. The customer told us, "The wire wheels complement the 'classic' look of the car. I truly appreciate your efforts to deliver the wheels despite almost every obstacle that could have befallen you. You guys deserve a big pat on the back and I will certainly recommend you should the opportunity present itself."

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the wheels on the Imperial. I can roll along at any speed and there is no noticeable shake or shimmy.  Perfect.

I found these tires and could not be more pleased with the performance and profile.
Getting plenty of positive compliments of course!
Thanks again for the great customer service and quality product!

Gregg Park - California

Mr. Bob Luedke joined our long list of satisfied customers by installing a set of Truespoke Imperial wire wheels and caps on his outstanding Imperial.

  • "Hi Truespoke, I received the wheels this morning and ran them down to the tire store for mounting. Holy Wow, what a difference. The guys at the store commented on the superior quality of your product and wanted to know where I bought them. I used to get a thumbs up from people now there yelling compliments out their car windows  and on the street. Best investment I ever made on the car. And how in the heck did you get them here so fast!

Truespoke Customer Mr. Jon Yinger sent us this photo of his very choice Imperial and tells us, "We drove her to Palm Springs two weeks ago for the annual statewide Imperial Club show. She won second place. Thanks for all of your help!"

We applaud Jon's efforts in presenting his rare Imperial at this prestigious Concours. We are very proud of Jon for taking second place and that he chose Truespoke to equip his show quality Imperial.
